Presenting Our June Issue: Whole Living Starts Here

Posted by

Those of you who subscribe to our magazine will soon be receiving your June issue in the mail. (For the rest of you, it'll be on newsstands May 24.) It's a very special issue, with a very special double cover.

That's because with this issue, we're announcing our new official name: Whole Living!

As you already know, Whole Living is the name of our website; it’s also the name of our daily radio show on Sirius/XM, hosted by senior features editor Terri Trespicio.

There were many factors driving this evolution, but foremost we are excited to finally be able to unite all of our content under one identity. (Our new tagline is “Body + Soul in Balance,” so we haven’t left our former self behind!)

In our pages, you will still find all of the subjects you love, from health and fitness to inner growth and nutritious food.

You’ll also find some new elements, such as a monthly profile called “Living It,” which highlights an individual who’s been inspired to make healthy and eco-friendly changes in her life, and “In Balance,” which culls insights from thought leaders in the areas of integrative health, life coaching, sustainability, and spirituality.

And, of course, you spoke (and emailed, and Faecbooked, and Tweeted) and we heard you: After a brief hiatus, "10 Thoughts on Whole Living," our monthly inspiring call to action and reflection, is back by popular demand. It's no longer in the back of the book, but in June you can find it on page 87. And if you need some mid-day inspiration at your computer, you can also find it online.

Thank you to everyone who wrote in over the past few months to share what the magazine means to you, and what you want to see more of (or less). Maintaining this connection with our readers is crucial, so please write me at editor@wholeliving.com and let me know what you think.

I hope you find these changes to be inspiring and informative -- I’d greatly value your feedback!

Thanks for reading,
Alex
Editor-in-Chief

  • Whole Living needs to review the ads. GNC's photo on page 26 of the latest issue of a stick woman as an example of someone who is balanced and a better you is alarming.
