I knew that Jennifer Edwards, an inspiring woman who overcame IBS and other health problems naturally, (featured in “I Saved My Own Life” in our Jan/Feb issue, hitting newsstands Dec. 17) had a background in professional dance, but I was blown away by this piece that she wrote and directed.
It’s such a cool, memorable video (or visual art?) that I started incorporating the tips almost immediately. I visualize the imagery now whenever I’m overwhelmed and ramped up. Check out the 1-minute "instructional" video. Can you relate?

Thank you so much for sharing this exercise with your readers Denise! This has been one of the greatest tools for me - drawing awareness to the back of my head - when my mind becomes crowed with thoughts and I feel overwhelmed. I just love that I can share it here!
Here's to a relaxed holiday season...

If it's more than everyday stress, more like extreme stress, there's a website, ClaytonStress.com run by the Clayton Stress Instittue. It features Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) but it is online. No personal information. You can do it on your home computer. I had a traumatic divorce and suffered from very severe stress for a long time after. I didn't want to take any drugs so i tired it. Wow.
