What should I eat? And how much?
Perhaps the two most common questions when it comes to living a healthier life. I hear it ALL the time. So when I appeared on the Martha Stewart Show recently, I set out to help answer them. Of course there was a lot going on that day--we're talking about the Whole Living Action Plan 28-Day Challenge, and also celebrating the publication of Whole Living's first book, Power Foods: 150 Delicious Recipes with the 38 Healthiest Ingredients.
Of course, the two are completely related because what the Action Plan helps you start (kick off healthier eating habits), Power Foods helps you finish--with a ton of delicious, good-for-you recipes that incorporate and are aligned with the principles of the action plan itself.
So we showcased a few of the recipes from Power Foods to give you an idea of what a day of eating healthy could look like. You may not choose these specific foods, but I promise you--there are things in this book you will be thrilled to eat, and that you'll feel good about adding into rotation.
We also talked about what the deal is with diet soda (and why it's not a great idea, especially if you're trying to lose weight) and how to keep up your momentum throughout 2011.
