Who is your beauty inspiration? My beauty inspiration are the all the remarkable women in my life who are incredibly talented and giving.
What product/treatment/beauty indulgence do you spend the most on? My big beauty indulgence is a facial. I truly believe that each time I get one it makes a remarkable difference in the health of my skin and that over time it will allay aging.
What do you spend the least on? I spend the least on my dental floss…everything else is too important to skimp on.
What does age mean to you? To me, age means knowledge. The older I get the more I know and that’s very powerful and important.
What’s the most interesting thing you’ve learned about skin/hair/nails/beauty this year? One interesting thing I learned this year while doing research on SPF ingredients is to avoid any cream with oxybenzone because it breaks down very quickly in the sun and can cause more free radical damage to the skin than not using any sunscreen at all.
What’s the one thing you do (not product-based) that you think affects your appearance more than anything else? I notice a big difference people smile. It lights up your face and creates a positive shift in mood.
Why naturals? Due to the many toxins and chemicals in our environment we see women becoming more and more sensitive to the products they use. In order to counterbalance these effects, we chose to utilize very high levels of pure, botanical ingredients that support the skin and the immune system rather than tax it.
