Feng shui tells us that our physical environment has a big impact on our well-being. "Your home interior should be updated approximately every five years to avoid getting stuck in a rut," explains New York City feng shui practitioner Laura Benko. If this sounds daunting, start with something small, like adding bold throw pillows to your sofa, rearranging your knickknacks, or picking up a small bouquet of flowers. "When you begin the process of changing up your surroundings, you instigate a flow of transformation within yourself as well."
