Challenge of the Day: Empower Yourself by Dreaming Big

What big goal do you dream about -- running a marathon, opening your own business, going on an epic journey? Why not -- right here, right now -- pick a date and commit to making it happen? "Working toward a goal that's out of your comfort zone empowers you," says Los Angeles-based personal trainer Ramona Braganza, who recently climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro as a fundraiser for Care Canada. "In adversity, we dig deeper and we find ways to do what our mind is telling us we can't do." What will you pledge to prove you can do?

  • Thank you. This challenge comes as a boost of confidence. I have recently become a university graduate student. I am often out of my comfort zone and feel my dreams are too grand. However, as soon as I finish a project and receive an excellent grade, I prove to myself that I am a strong woman and capable of achieving far-reaching goals. I'll keep dreaming big!!!

  • I am a survivor of a Traumatic Brain Injury almost 25 years ago. I have been blessed by some loving parents, excellent friends, and good therapist in my recovery. Although my dreams had to change due to no fault of my own, I have had the confidence to try things that I was told I would never do by both professionals, family and friends. I still have some dreams I am working towards achieving, but I feel blessed with what the Lord and my "stubborness" has allowed me to do.

  • I am a mom of 3 small children and I just found out what I want to do as my new career. I want to be a freelanced translator. I love translating and I speak several languages. It is a challenge, since I do not know how to start it up. I am so excited and scared too. Wish me good luck
