Challenge of the Day: Reduce Your Trash -- and Repair Your Confidence
A missing button, broken dish, or busted purse strap can take a favorite item out of rotation and turn it into clutter. Tonight, get out the needle and thread, glue, or try Angie's List (to find someone to make a more technical repair) and restore your ailing item to its proper usefulness. Then, revel in the simple satisfaction our grandmothers felt whenever they darned a sock.
For help with today's challenge, find out how to repair and overhaul old furniture.
