Smoothie Wednesday: Kiwi with Chocolate

Growing up, kiwi fruit was one of my favorite treats. I always adored the sweet taste and texture of them. Today, I still love these green goodies and this past weekend, I decided to enjoy a few in my weekend smoothie.

Kiwi Smoothie with Chocolate
Serves 1

2 kiwis, peeled
1/2 cup chocolate almond milk
1/4 cup water
1 cup curly green kale (www.greenlemonade.com/detox-dictionary/freshly-picked-eat-kale-cleanse-rejuvenate/), stems removed (optional)
1 cup ice

Kiwi – Kiwi fruit is packed with vitamin C. In addition to acting as a natural immune booster, vitamin C is also recommended by detox gurus as a key ingredient for women looking to prepare their bodies for a healthy, happy pregnancy.

Combine the ingredients above into a good powerful blender until smooth and creamy. Thin with water or thicken with ice, if desired. Enjoy!
