Fiber is essential to your digestive health and taking in enough of the nutrient ensures regular bowel movements, which excrete toxins collected in the liver. The wholesome, heart-healthy nutrient also keeps you fuller longer. To curb your craving woes, try adding more roughage to your day with these detox-friendly tips.
- Start your day with a fruit salad of apples, pears, and Greek yogurt.
- Add fig spread to your savories. A whole-grain crispbread packed with arugula and grilled, free-range chicken should do the trick.
- Sprinkle baking bran atop your meals. (Check your local bakery for scraps---bran bags can sell for as low as $.30!)
And don’t forget to hydrate! Drinking plenty of water throughout the day will ensure a diet rich in fiber is working as it should.

I want to do the 28-day detox properly this year. I am to have Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner and two of the snacks, is that correct? . . . and lots of H20! Please advise.
Thanks,
Franca

Juice extractor? I'm disappointed that I am throwing away the pulp - aren't I missing out on the fiber portion of the raw veggies & fruits when I use an extractor? What is the reason for the extractor vs. a juicing machine? Thanks!
Marcia
