
A thick and creamy homemade nut milk is one of my most favorite afternoon snacks. This week, I’m upgrading the treat by combining macadamia nut milk with a fresh vanilla bean and a creamy banana. In my opinion, the fresh vanilla bean is what really makes this smoothie special.
Vanilla and Macadamia Smoothie
Serves 1 (~320 calories)
1/4 cup macadamia nuts
1 frozen banana, peeled
1 vanilla bean, seeds scraped
1/4 teaspoon all-natural vanilla extract
1 cup water
3-4 ice cubes
Place ingredients into a powerful blender until smooth and creamy. Thin with water or thicken with ice if desired. Enjoy!
