I love all the tender baby lettuces and herbs that arrive with spring. Sorrel is a tender leafy green, similar to spinach, that you'll often find nestled amongst the markets during this time of year. I think the leaves taste like sour wild strawberries (really!). I love adding it to a breakfast smoothie.

Better-for-you ingredients
Tender green lettuces, including sorrel, are rich in vitamins, calcium, protein (yes, it’s true!), and chlorophyll. Chlorophyll regenerates and cleanses your body at a cellular level. It’s also embraced by health beauties to help fight infection, heal wounds, and support a healthy circulatory, digestive, immune, and detoxification system.
