Who is your beauty inspiration? My mother has always been a "less is more" kind of woman when it comes to beauty. That philosophy has become my mantra.Enhance what you have been given, but definitely don't overdo it.

What product/treatment/beauty indulgence do you spend the most on? Sunblock! I am fanatical about that, everyday, it doesn't matter what season. I also make sure that my three daughters, 5-year-old twins and a 1-year-old, are always protected. Of course, we also use everything in our product line at our house, from hand soaps to shampoos and conditioners, to lotions and buttercreams. If I actually have the time to use one of our body scrubs without one of my daughters interrupting me in the shower, that is a true indulgence!

What do you spend the least on? My hair. Blowouts, highlights, and frequent trips to the salon are just not part of my life right now. I am pretty low maintenance in that regard.

What does age mean to you? I think in each stage of life, there are always new experiences, challenges, and wisdom to be gained. I love that - you never know what is around the corner!

What's the most interesting thing you¹ve learned about skin/hair/nails/beauty this year? That your skincare needs can evolve as you age, beyond the typical aging process. My skin has changed in different ways due to both of my pregnancies, so I am still in the process of trying to balance it out again after the hormonal roller coaster it's been on for the last five years.

What's the one thing you do (not product-based) that you think affects your appearance more than anything else? Sleep. With my hectic schedule, it would be easy to cut into that to get more done, but the reality is, if I don't sleep enough, I am not as productive. I also know from personal experience (taking care of my three kids as newborns) the toll that months of sleep deprivation can take on my appearance - it's not pretty!

Why naturals? Natural products are so much more effective than their synthetic alternatives. You can get into a vicious cycle of stripping your skin and hair of its natural moisture and then having to replenish it constantly. When you use products that don't do that in the first place, and leave your skin and hair as they should be, everyday maintenance is so much easier. That's why I wanted to create a line with products that do the job they are supposed to, without creating new problems. As with everything in our product line, they are super concentrated and effective, so a little goes a long way.
