Smoothie Wednesday: Strawberries 'N Cream

Posted by

The counter in our house is filled with beautiful strawberries from the farmer’s market. My husband made his annual strawberry shortcake for the 4th last week and my little one and I have been nibbling on the leftover berries for breakfast and tossing them into creamy smoothies.

Strawberries ‘N Cream
Serves 1 (~150 calories)

1 cup organic strawberries
3 oz plain Greek or coconut milk yogurt
1 tablespoon cashew butter
4 oz water
Drizzle of good honey (optional)
3-4 ice cubes, to thicken

Better-for-you ingredients

Berries: These are packed with antioxidants that fight free radicals, which are believed to contribute to disease and accelerate aging.

Coconut milk yogurt: More and more beauties are finding that making the switch to a diet rich in fresh produce and light on traditional cow’s milk dairy and meat, brightens their mood, melts away stubborn weight, and makes their skin glow. In other words, their bodies start to “work better.”

Directions
Blend ingredients in a powerful blender until smooth and creamy. Thin with water or thicken with ice if desired. Enjoy!

  • I have witnessed that wise real estate agents all more than the location are warming up to FSBO Promoting. They're seeing that it is not only placing a sign post in the front yard. It is really concerning building relationships with these vendors who one of these days will become consumers. So, when you give your time and effort to aiding these traders go it alone the "Law linked with Reciprocity" kicks in. Fantastic weblog post.
