Smoothie Wednesdays: Raspberry Chocolate Smoothie

Posted by

During the summer, I don’t really do that much cooking⎯particularly at breakfast. Breakfast is usually something light and fresh and thrown together in just a few minutes. This week, I’ve been having some fun with a basket of fresh raspberries. I’ve been tossing them into creamy breakfast parfaits, celebrating them in a delicate sauce that I twirl through a bowl of yogurt and whipping them into a few different smoothies. I think everyone has a favorite raspberry smoothie, but after making a few of them over the last few days, I think my personal favorite includes a generous handful of raspberries with a hint of chocolate. This is this recipe! Let me know if you enjoy the kiss of chocolate as much as I do.

In addition, Omega-3s are valued for their ability to fight heart disease, support a healthy immune system and help protect against abnormal blood clotting.
