  • Your skin is a reflection of everything you put in your body

  • Toner is important to use. It restores your ph balance. It is also important to use an alcohol free toner. If it has alcohol, it tricks your skin into thinking its dry and creates more oil leading to more breakouts

  • The best skincare advice I have ever received was to always use moisturizer--I have been doing so since I was a teenager and i think it's helped for the most part...being in my 50's you can only do so much!

  • Eat healthy for healthy skin and take a fish oil supplement.

  • Always wear sunscreen!

  • to drink as much water as possible!!

  • The best skin care advice I've ever gotten was to moisturize every day and to use a moisturizer with sunscreen for the day time

  • Best skin care advice I ever got was to back off the harsh ingredients. When I was young, I used plain rubbing alcohol as a toner. I went to a spa one time and the clinician showed me with a magnifying glass (actually, you could see the damage without it) how it was damaging my skin. She told me never to use such harsh ingredients that way.

  • Everybody's free to wear sunscreen. :-)

  • Water and sunscreen are your skin's best friends!

  • Always wear at least 30 spf sunscreen! I also was told to try cleansing and moisturizing with oils (olive, coconut, jojoba, etc) and I love the results!

  • Eat healthy & drink water!

  • Do not skimp on eye cream, and apply it by dabbing it on with your ring finger.

  • Rest well and often.

I have learned this to be true in recent years. My lack of regular sleep has taken its toll. I looked tired, my skin is starting to sag and wrinkles more noticeable. I hope it's not too late to turn things around!

  • If you wouldn't eat it or drink it, don't put it on your skin!

  • At least 15 SPF sunscreen.. every day.

  • Never go to bed with makeup on.

  • Wear sunscreen, exercise and drink lots of water. Moisturizer especially around my eyes seem to be getting the most important products to have.

  • Always moisturize! Even if you have oily skin.

  • Always have a clean face and moisturize, and always wear sunscreen.

  • Actually, I think it can be summed up in this Roald Dahl quote I recently came across: "If you have good thoughts they will shine out of your face like sunbeams and you will always look lovely." That and no tanning. Worked for my mom, who still looks amazing at 65.

  • Best skincare advice I have ever received is to hydrate with water, moisturize daily, use sunscreen, and always cleanse makeup off my face every night.

  • The best skin care advice ever......exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate! A great exfoliant can make all the difference in the world! And as I learned later on it also helps contribute to anti-aging!

  • Drink water and be careful what you eat!

  • Eat watercress to reduce facial skin puffiness, inflammation, and pore size. Drink 2.5 to 3 liters of water every day. Drink coconut water, orange juice, or something that is natural. Sleep well and for a minimum of 7 to 8 hours.

  • Drink lots of water. Avoid the sun & smoking,

  • Drink a gallon of water everyday. Thanks Gabrielle Union!

  • The best skin care advice I ever received is how important it is to exfoliate. Whether manually or chemically. Such an important skin care step, one which made all the difference in the world in treating my acne.

  • Wear sunscreen - which I horribly neglected in my teenage years and early 20's as a lifeguard. I'm paying the price in my early 30's!

  • dont use chemicals, use all natural ingredients to cleanse and moisturize your skin as it is the largest organ of your body!

  • The best advice is to drink plenty of water!

  • drink water

  • exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate!!!

  • Plenty of water, less sun or use lots of sunscreen, and moisturize starting at a young age:) Get in the habit.

  • sunscreen every day even on cloudy days

  • Drink plenty of water, have a diet packed with antioxidants, STAY out of the sun!!!

  • Wash your face before you go to bed; drink lots of water; sunscreen!

  • Avoid harsh treatments; be gentle with your skin, don't scrub your face. Drink plenty of water, get a good nights' sleep, and if you can't wash your face at night, at least splash with water. Wear sunscreen & don't forget to protect your lips, too!

  • Best thing to get your skin to it's natural ph is apple cider vinegar. Use a non-drying soap for washing and apply the organic apple cider vinegar all over face with a cotton ball.

  • The best advice I've received is to consider your neck and chest am extension of your face and to make sure to moisturizer it and take gentle care to it as you would your face since you can tell a women's real age by looking at the wrinkles on her chest and neck.

  • My skincare must have is essential oil. I use it as a perfume, to mix up my own deodorant, to improve my mood in the sauna, to soften and soothe my tired feet, and as a daily moisturizer. There are so many wonderful choices and uses. It is THE ultimate skincare must have!

  • Wash your face every night and MOISTURIZER!

  • Drink lots of water, and wash my face every night with a gentle cleanser.

  • I have received lots of good skin advice over the years but the tried and true tips that I got were to always wash my face before bed, no matter what, wear a moisturizer with SPF during the day, to drink plenty of water, and eat a variety of fruits and veggies. I have to say that the advice has worked for me.

  • eat healthy with lots of antioxidants, drink 8 glasses of water or more, use suncreen dealy and reaply suncreen at least 1x per day, use an antioxidant along before sunscreen for better protection of sunlight and infraded radiation, wear suncreen even if you are not in outside, wash your face 2x per day morning and night, use a good night moisturizer or antiwrinke cream at night!!

  • live, love, laugh through every tiny cell in your body
and breath with a smiling heart!

  • eat well, drink water, and
    don't smoke.

  • My mother always told me to never go to sleep with my make-up on, and to use coconut oil as make-up remover. She's always guided me in taking the best possible care of my skin.

  • Clarisonic Mia with sensitive brush. My pores have never looked better. I am constantly struggling with congestion on my nose and chin. The difference after only one week is fantastic! Plus my skin Feels so much softer too.

  • Drink lots of water and don't use soap to cleanse. This is the best advice I have ever been given. It was given to me by a great aunt. She had beautiful, glowing skin at 80 years old.

  • Never go to bed with makeup!

  • I dont wear sunscreen per say much anymore, as I have researched the latest info on so many people being deficient in Vitamin D. I DO wear wide brimmed hats, get shaded sun exposure and use sunglasses, all while getting some good exposure to the sun. I am 50 and have been using organic coconut oil for some time on my face, body and the ends of my hair when needed. The recent information is that coconut oil is great in a daily diet , too! I drink lots of water and am now realizing the importance of getting enough sleep. I feel better than I have in years. I plan on getting better as the years go by!

  • The best advice I've ever gotten: use sunscreen religiously. Slather it on any time you go outside and reapply it as needed for the length of time you're out. Even in the winter time. I'm a very outdoorsy person and it would be easy for me to damage my skin in a flash if I didn't follow this advice, especially since I burn easily. I also avoid tanning beds at all costs! If I ever want a bronze glow, I'll use tanning lotion. I love my natural tone, tho. I may be almost white as a ghost, but it's the way God made me, and if it's good enough for Him, it's good enough for me. :)

  • The best skin care advice I ever received actually came from my Nana and was given to me throughout my childhood. (Although I didn't realize it at the time that it was the best skin care advice I was ever going to receive). Nana incorporated a lot of products into her skin care regiment that we refer to as "home remedies" and "DIY". Being a young woman in the late-80's, I half-way dismissed a lot of these products as being nothing more than the household items that older generations had to rely on because designer cosmetics at expensive departments stores had yet to be invented. All these years later, we still know that Nana was right about the countless uses and health benefits regarding products such as apple cider vinegar, baking soda, etc. Nana knew in her heart that the care she gave to her skin was "non-comedogenic" -- and I can promise that she never heard of that particular term used in her lifetime.

A short list of my must-have skin-care products: Oil-Free Cleanser by HMS Crown, Dickinson's Witch Hazel, Skin Eternal DMAE Serum by Source Naturals, Aqua Glucolic Face Cream by Crown Laboratories, Neoteric Alpha Hydrox Oil-Free Treatment with 10% Glycolic AHA and Dermactin-TS Idebenoxyl Anti-Oxidant Facial Complex.

  • Healthy Sleep is the key to rejuvination. Also, be careful not to overdue your skincare and facial routine; sometimes less is more.

  • Sun screen for every season

  • The best advice I ever received is to start wearing moisturizer with SPF if out in the sun.

  • What you put in your body will show in your skin. Eat whole, clean food and your face and body will thank you for it!

  • Get rest, drink water, wear sunscreen, and never put petroleum based products on your skin as they sit on top of your skin and interfere with the skins function.

  • Wash my face before going to bed, and clean those makeup brushes!

  • Drink lots of water, keep your skin clean and moisturized, wear sunscreen even on cloudy days, eat right, be careful what products you use on your face as some skincare lines have chemicals in them that are harmful to your body and health, and use a good skincare line & regimen. Also, masque regularly to slough off the dead skin cells so the next layer of new skin is bright and can breathe because oxygen is very important to cellular growth.

  • The best skincare advice I ever got was to cleanse gently, exfoliate gently, and use gentle, natural products. Also, when I stopped eating dairy products and sugar, my complexion completely changed for the better.

  • The best advice I've received and what I recommend is to cleanse and mosturize every
morning & evening. And i do, religiously!

  • Never over exfoliate. Only exfoliate about 2 times a week. Always wear sunscreen and drink alot of water.

  • It'd be a nice treat to start taking better care of one's skin. Even though I've been doing it for nearly 40 years!

  • The best advice I was EVER given - must be - don't wash your face too much!!! We all need natural oils for our health! And when you get that in your head, how nice does it really feel when I wash after being on the road, or walking in the CBD all day? Great. Amazing.

I nominate Aesop. They have been one of the only brands that seem to work with extremely sensitive skin so far....

  • Best Advice

    1) Wash you face every NIGHT before bed (may not have to wash in the morning...my dad is 76 and has never washed his face in the morning and he has like 3 wrinkles... no joke)
    2) Try and stay out of the sun
    3)Eat your fruits and Vegitables

I nominate: Philosophy's Hope in a jar moisturizer and Philosophy's Purity face wash.

  • Always wear sunscreen, buy moisturizers with sunscreen, make up, lip balms/gloss, lotion, and hair products with sunscreen to avoid buying 2 separate products. Reapply every 2 hours and use setting powder with SPF in order to avoid reapplying makeup

  • Never go to bed with makeup on!

  • Best advice? You will just age your skin by getting a "healthy" tan. It's not worth it.

  • One of the best advices I ever received: "Along with a good skin care regime, always tell yourself that your skin looks good and that you look pretty every time you see yourself in a mirror. How you feel about yourself from inside reflects your outside so you must have a positive attitude about yourself and your skin". believe it or not, it worked wonders for me :)

  • My fav product is the Bioelements Kerafole face mask and the Stress cream. It makes my skin feel amazing

  • Best skin advice I ever received was definitely to always wear sunscreen!

  • Best skin care advice I have received is Always Wear Sunscreen.

  • Don't pick! Hands are dirty and will just spread bacteria and make breakouts worse.

  • The Kerafole and Stress Cream keep me looking fresh and clean!

  • Healthy skin comes from the inside as well as the outside. So what you eat matters as much as what you apply to your skin.

  • Stay hydrated and make sure to put SPF on your hands.

  • Wear sunscreen, drink a ton of filtered water, get enough sleep and treat your body well.... Now if I could get the little people in my life on board with that plan ;)

  • The best advice was to quit tanning. Any kind of tanning, outdoor, indoor, whatever.
