My husband and I just returned from an anniversary trip to southern Italy. It was warm, sunny, and beautiful, and we had a lovely time. Now I’m settling back into New York, unpacking and doing my best to embrace some detoxifying salads and rejuvenating smoothies. This morning, I whipped together this kale smoothie. Kale, of course, is rich in chlorophyll, an extremely restorative and cleansing phytochemical for your body (particularly helpful when you're looking to rebound after lots of pasta!). Chlorophyll also helps support a healthy digestive and immune system, just the support my body needs after a long flight.
