Whole Living Radio Producer

Home: New York City

Jennifer holds a BA in British and Irish Literature from New York University and completed a Fulbright Scholarship year studying comparative politics at the University of Aarhus in Denmark. All that liberal arts education led to work as a speechwriter, then as a freelance writer, which led to a radio interview, which led to a career change.

Before joining the team at Martha Stewart Living Radio, she produced news, arts, and culture segments for "The Leonard Lopate Show" on WNYC, New York's public radio station. When she's not producing "Cooking with Emeril" and "Whole Living," Jennifer produces a monthly book club, a biweekly wine tasting circle, and the occasional epic dinner party. Lately she’s been studying at New York’s International Wine Center, although she’s not yet sure exactly what she wants to do with wine besides drink it. Her passion for travel verges on the gypsy level, and she and her husband, Scott, document their adventures in photos at bridgeandtunnelclub.com.

My philosophy: Seize the day.

If I weren’t doing what I’m doing now, I’d be: living in Paris and running an American-style diner.

Favorite piece of advice: When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.
