Lora Krulak

Nutritional muse, culinary adventurer, traveler

Lora Krulak, author of Veggies for Carnivores, is inspired by global flavors and exotic spices. She focuses on giving people the tools and understanding they need to create healthy, vegetable-centric lifestyles, without having to become a vegetarian. Lora obtained her BFA degree from Parsons School of Design, then later went on to train at ICE Culinary Cooking School. Combining her visual and culinary skills, she became a private nutritional chef and lifestyle coach. In addition, she's taught yoga and has traveled the world from India, Bali and Thailand, to Turkey, the Middle East, Australia and Southern Europe, bringing along stories, recipes and cooking techniques, learned and perfected overseas.

My philosophy: It's not just what you eat but how you eat it. Consciousness is key in all aspects of life.

If I weren’t doing what I do now, I’d probably be: One of my dreams is to give a TED talk!

Favorite piece of advice: "Don't think, just breathe."
