Bio: Dr. Shawn Messonier graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in veterinary medicine in 1987 and opened my practice, Paws & Claws Animal Hospital, in 1991. He's been using natural/holistic therapies in my practice for the last 15 years and has written 30 books on pet care, including "The Natural Health Bible for Dogs & Cats," "The Allergy Solution for Dogs," "The Arthritis Solution for Dogs & Cats," "The Natural Vet's Guide to Preventing and Treating Cancer in Dogs," and "8 Weeks to a Healthy Dog."

If I weren't doing what I do now I'd be a full-time author or professional magician/mentalist. If I were retired, I’d play more golf and volunteer at some of my favorite charities, helping others.
